Are you and your partner feeling uncertain about which Everlance product to choose? Don't worry, we're here to help clear up any confusion. Let's breakdown the most popular questions:
Can I share my Starter or Professional account?
Everlance is designed for single users, meaning you can't be logged into the same account on multiple devices. This ensures accurate tracking and prevents errors or missed trips. Each person needs their own account for optimal functionality.
How much would it cost for both of us on the individual plan?
The Starter membership costs $8.99 per month or $69.99 annually, offering features like unlimited auto-detection, Work Hours, and PDF exports. The Professional membership costs $99.99 annually and comes with all the same features as Starter plus access to features such as Tax Filing, Audit Protection and Automatic Expense Sync.
One of the perks of sticking with individual plans is flexibility. If one partner does more driving, they can opt for Starter or Professional while the other can stay on the Basic free version of the app which would allow them 30 auto-detected trips each month and unlimited manual entries. Which account is easier to use?
In general, the individual version of Everlance is more user-friendly and straightforward. But if you require shared data visibility under the same dashboard, Everlance Business is the solution for you.
How can I opt out of Everlance Business or remove the Team Dashboard?
If you've tried Everlance Business and decide you'd like to go back to the individual version of the app, simply write an email to our support team at support@everlance.com asking to switch your account back to an individual plan.
What to consider with Everlance Business for couples/partners:
-
Limited Features: Couples may find that Everlance Business offers more features than they need, with certain settings restricted to Account Owners or Super Admins.
Unavailable Purposes: Some purposes like Charity or Medical aren't available to team members on a business plan. - Administrative Control: The Account Owner has full control over certain settings, potentially limiting what partners can do within the app.
- IRS Rate: If you're following the IRS rate, individual plans might be more suitable as Everlance Business caters to company rates.
For couples, the individual plan is often the better choice due to its flexibility and simplicity. Everlance Business, with its advanced features and administrative control, may offer more than what couples need for their personal tracking purposes. However, for businesses managing multiple team members, Everlance Business provides valuable tools for centralized management and oversight.
Ultimately, consider your tracking habits, collaboration needs, and budget when making your decision. Whether you opt for individual plans or Everlance Business, both options offer valuable tools to streamline your expense and mileage tracking as a couple. If you're still unsure, our support team is here to provide personalized guidance.
