In a FAVR program, participants usually receive a predetermined monthly payment (in addition to their variable payment).
Suppose a participant switches to another program within the same month. In that case, the payment they receive will be adjusted proportionally based on the number of days they were enrolled in the original program for that month. This means they will receive a prorated payment reflecting the duration of their participation in the original program for that month.
Let's say that Thelma Lou, a FAVR program member, receives a fixed payment of $200 per month, and she moves to a different program after being enrolled for 15 days. In this case, Thelma Lou's prorated payment would be $100 ($200 x 15/30 days). The payment is adjusted proportionally based on the number of days they were enrolled in the original program for that month.
