Everlance's newest Premium feature is the Tax Vault. The Tax Vault feature allows Everlance to behave like a bank. This feature takes a portion of each pay deposit and withholds the calculated amount that you will owe when your taxes are due.
Step 1: Open the app and tap the round icon in left-hand corner and select Work Status so you see this screen. Make sure that your profile has "Self-Employed 1099" highlighted.
Step 2: Once you've verified this, select "Tax Vault" in the bottom right corner of the app and tap "Get Started."
Step 3: Complete the following fields with your name and phone number and then press the green "Next" button.
Step 4: Tap on "Add your bank account" and then press the "Create Tax Vault" button once it turns green.
Step 5: Press the blue "Continue" button on the next page.
Step 6: In the Search bar, type in the bank you use to receive your independent income.

Step 7: Once you have selected your bank and entered in your bank login credentials, you can choose one of the two authentication steps to receive the security code (depending on your bank's security processes, you may have to answer security questions as well).
Step 8: Once you have completed the login process, you can choose one of the two options below for the transaction history you'd like displayed in the Tax Vault portion of the app.
Step 9: Make sure that the account you want linked to Tax Vault has a checkmark next to it. Select "Create Tax Vault" and confirm your account.
Step 11: Your bank is now connected! You can now use Everlance Tax Vault!
