Purposes allow your employees to keep all of the mileage, expenses, and revenue separate for each source of income or category. Team Members will now see the Purposes as preset options and their reports will have mileage and expenses allocated into the categories they’ve set. Setting Purposes for all of your employees is easy! Here's how:
Step 1: Click the Settings tab on the Teams Dashboard.
If you'd like to set specific Rates and Purposes for a certain sub-team as an Owner, first click on the Admin or Manager of that sub-team, and then click on the Settings tab.
Step 2: Click Rates & Purposes.
Step 3: Click + ADD NEW to add a new Purpose.
If the Mileage Rate is set for your Purpose, it'll overwrite the Default Rate. If left blank, it will fall back to the Default Rate.
Step 5: Enter the information and click ADD to set Purposes and Mileage Rates for your team.
