Our new Rules feature allows you to automatically classify recurring transactions. Follow the steps below to get started:
Step 1: Open the Everlance app
Step 2: Tap the Profile icon on the top left corner of the screen. Scroll down and tap on Rules.
Step 3: Tap on "Add Rules"
Step 4: If you want to just add the merchant name, tap on "Enter merchant". If you want to change the transaction type, tap "Merchant" and select the type of transaction you want.
Step 5: Select Add Condition to add a condition. Tap on Expenses to specify the condition. You can add as many conditions/rules as you want.
Note: If you add a condition/rule that you don't want, you can swipe it to the left and tap "Delete"
Step 6: Go to "Classify As" at the bottom of the screen and tap on "Select Purpose". Select the class you want your transaction to be classified as.
Step 7: When you are done, tap on "Create" and you're all set! The rules will be set for all future transactions, and you can edit them at any time.
