How Can I Be in Compliance If I Rent My Vehicle?

If you rent your vehicle instead of owning or leasing it, your eligibility for certain reimbursement programs may be affected.

If you're in a FAVR (Fixed and Variable Rate) program, you may not qualify. FAVR is designed to reimburse drivers for depreciation and insurance costs, which typically don’t apply to rental vehicles.

A CPM (Cents Per Mile) or Allowance Program (AP) may be a better fit since these programs focus on reimbursing mileage rather than ownership costs.
