How to Automatically Flag or Reject Reports for Trips Taken During Company Holidays

Would you like to have reports flagged or rejected when a trip is recorded during a company holiday? Use the 'Trips on 2025 Holidays' template to customize a holiday list for your organization. You can easily add, remove, or adjust dates to match your company’s schedule. When a team member reports a trip overlapping a company holiday, the template can flag or reject the report in real time, ensuring transparency and providing employees the opportunity to quickly correct or remove trips that triggered the automation.

To learn how to add your holiday schedule, follow the steps below: 

Step 1: Log in to your account on the Team Dashboard. 

Step 2: Click on 'Team Settings' from the left side of your screen. 

Step 3: Click on 'Automations'. 

Step 4: Click the 'Trips on 2025 holidays' template at the top of your screen. 

Step 5: Select whether you'd like trips taken during company holidays to be rejected or flagged. 

Step 6: Next, modify the dates to match your company schedule. 

Click 'Add condition' to enter new dates.

Click the 'x' to remove a date.

Click on the 'date' to enter a new date from the calendar view. 

Once you are finished, click on 'Save' in the top right corner of your screen.
