Select your device below, to learn how:
Step 1: Click on 'Account' in the top right corner of your screen.
Step 2: From the side menu, select 'Direct Deposit'.
Please note: If you DO NOT see 'Direct Deposit' under your settings, don’t worry! This means your payments will be processed through a third party called Checkbook.io. After you submit a report and your payment has been issued, you will receive an email from Checkbook.io. Once you receive that email, you will need to follow the steps in this article (click here) to set up your direct deposit.
If you DO see 'Direct Deposit' listed, please continue to the next step.
Step 3: Choose to connect your bank account with Plaid or enter your account details Manually.
Using Plaid:
Step 4: Click 'Continue' at the bottom of your screen.
Step 5: Enter your phone number and click 'Continue'.
Step 6: Verify your phone number by entering the code and clicking 'Continue'.
Step 7: Select your institution from the list.
Step 8: Enter your online banking credentials.
Step 9: Tap 'Continue'.
Step 10: You'll then receive a 'Success' message to confirm that your account is connected. Click 'Continue' and you will see your bank listed under Direct Deposit.
That's it! You are now ready to start receiving payments through Everlance.
Manual Entry:
Step 4: To enter your account details manually, begin by inputting your account type and account number. Verify your account number and then provide both a routing number and an account nickname. After entering these details, carefully review them to ensure accuracy, as Everlance cannot be held responsible for payments sent to incorrect accounts. Once you've confirmed everything is correct, click 'Save' to complete the process.
You will then see your bank listed under Direct Deposit.

Step 9: Select 'Continue to login' to link your account. This action will redirect you to your bank's homepage where you can log in using your credentials.
Step 10: You'll then receive a 'Success' message to confirm that your account is connected. Click 'Continue' and you will see your bank listed under Direct Deposit.
