Need to adjust the roads taken on a manual trip card? Our Web Dashboard allows you to change the route of a manual trip entry. This feature is exclusive to manual trips and is not available for GPS-tracked trips.
Follow the steps below to learn how to adjust the route of a manual trip:
Step 1: Log in to your account on the Web Dashboard.
Step 2: Click on 'Trips'.
Step 3: Double-click to select the manual trip that you would like to edit the route for.
Step 4: On the map image, go to the bottom right corner. Hover over the pencil icon to expand the option for 'Edit route', then click the toggle so that it is ON (green).
Step 5: To enable the 'Edit route' feature, tap the toggle so that it is ON (green).
Step 6: You can expand the map view by clicking on the arrows in the top right corner.
Step 7: Drag and drop the route on the map to adjust the trip. In this example, the original manual trip entry showed the journey taking the highway, but in reality, side streets were taken due to construction. Here you'll see I adjusted the route accordingly.

Step 8: Once you are finished, click on 'Done' at the bottom of the trip card.
Step 9: Then 'Save' in the top right corner of the screen and the trip mileage will recalculate.
That's it! You now know how to edit the route of a manual trip from the Web Dashboard. Remember, this feature is exclusive to manual trips only and cannot be used for GPS-tracked trips, including autodetected trips or trips that used the manual start and stop method.
