You can now set-up SSO from the Team Dashboard. SSO streamlines access to multiple applications with just one set of login credentials, providing security and convenience for you and your team members.
To begin setting up SSO for your team first, select your identity provider:
Step 1: Log in to your account on the Team Dashboard.
Step 2: Click on 'Team Settings'.
Step 3: Select 'Single Sign-On'.
Step 4: Under the first section, select 'Okta' as the provider to set up SSO.
Step 5: Under the second section, you'll notice that the first four links are already generated for you. Your next step is to copy these links and paste them into your Okta application settings.
Step 6: To do so, log in to your account with Okta.
Step 7: Click on 'Applications'.
Step 8: Click on 'Applications' again from the dropdown menu.
Step 9: Click on 'Create App Integration' from the top of your screen.
Step 10: Select 'SAML 2.0' and click 'Next'.
Step 11: Under 'App Name' enter 'Everlance' and click 'Next'.
Step 12: From the next screen uncheck 'Use this for Recipient URL and Destination URL'.
Step 13: Next, you'll configure SAML by taking the four links from the Everlance Team Dashboard and entering them here. For example, the Single Sign-on URL from the Everlance Team Dashboard will be copied and pasted into the Single sign-on URL for Okta.
Step 14: On the Okta page, scroll down to 'Name ID format' and select 'EmailAddress'.
Step 15: Under 'Application username' select 'Email'.
Step 16: Once you are finished, scroll down to the bottom of your screen and click on 'Next'.
Step 17: Click 'Finish' at the bottom of your screen.
Step 18: Next click on 'Assignments' at the top of your screen.
Step 19: Click 'Assign' followed by 'Assign to People' to begin assigning individuals from your existing list in the Okta dashboard.
Step 20: Click on 'Assign'.
Step 21: Then 'Save and Go Back' to add your other members.
Step 22: Click 'Done' once you've added all of your members.
Step 23: Next, click on 'Sign On' from the top of your screen.
Step 24: Next scroll down to 'SAML Signing Certificates' and locate the certificate that is 'Active'.
Step 25: Select 'Actions' and 'View IdP metadata'.
Step 26: Right-click on the file to save it to your computer as an XML file.
Step 27: Once you have saved the file, go back to the Everlance Team Dashboard and upload your XML file under section 3.
Step 28: Once you are connected, your status will change to 'Configured'.
Please note: If you log out of the Everlance dashboard and try to log in again using SSO, you will encounter an error ("Invalid login"). If this happens, you'll need to either:
- Clear your cookies; or
- Log in using a different browser
Step 29: The next time your drivers open their Everlance app they can select 'continue with email' to sign in to their account. Make sure they are using the exact email that they use for Okta.
Step 1: Log in to your account on the Team Dashboard.
Step 2: Click on 'Team Settings'.
Step 3: Select 'Single Sign-On'.
Step 4: Under the first section, select 'Azure' as the provider to set up SSO.
Step 5: Under the second section, you'll notice that the first three links are already generated for you. Your next step is to copy these links and paste them into your Microsoft Azure application settings.
Step 6: To do so, log in to your account with Azure.
Step 7: Navigate to 'Microsoft Entra ID'.
Step 8: Select 'Enterprise applications' from the left side menu.
Step 9: Select 'New application' from the top menu.
Step 10: From the search bar at the top type in 'Microsoft entra SAML' and select 'Microsoft Entra SAML toolkit' from the options that appear.
Step 11: Type in 'Everlance' and select 'Create' at the bottom of your screen.
Step 12: Click on 'Assign users and groups' to begin assigning individuals to your existing list in the Azure Dashboard.
Step 13: Click 'Add user/group'.
Step 14: Select 'None Selected'.
Step 15: Choose your users and click 'Select' at the bottom of the screen.
Step 16: Then 'Assign' at the bottom of the next screen.
Step 17: From here, go back to 'Overview'.
Step 18: Click 'Set up single sign on'.
Step 19: Click on 'SAML'
Step 20: In the first section 'Basic SAML Configuration' click on 'Edit'.
Step 21: Next, you'll configure SAML by taking the links from the Everlance Team Dashboard and entering them here. Under the first part 'Identifier (Entity ID)' click 'Add Identifier'.
Step 22: Copy the 'Identifier URL' from the Everlance Team Dashboard into here.
Step 23: Next, click on 'Add reply URL'.
Step 24: Add the 'Reply URL' from the Everlance Team Dashboard here.
Step 25: Next, take the 'Sign on URL' from the Team Dashboard and enter it here.
Step 26: After that click 'Save' in the top left corner.
Step 27: Finally, click 'Download' next to Federation Metadata XML.
Step 28: Once you have saved the file, go back to the Everlance Team Dashboard and upload your XML file under section 3.
Step 29: Once you are connected, your status will change to 'Configured'.
Please note: If you log out of the Everlance Dashboard and try to log in again using SSO, you will encounter an error ("Invalid login"). If this happens, you'll need to either:
- Clear your cookies; or
- Log in using a different browser.
The next time your drivers open their Everlance app they can select 'continue with email' to sign in to their account. Make sure they are using the exact email that they use for Microsoft Azure.

How to Unlink SSO
Step 1: Click on 'Team Settings'.
Step 2: Select 'Single Sign-On'.
Step 3: Click on 'Unlink SSO provider' from the top right corner of your screen.
Step 4: Type in 'UNLINK' to continue.
Step 5: Click 'Yes, unlink SSO'.
Step 6: All members must now log in using their Everlance username and password; those without one should utilize the password reset option to set up their credentials.
