Important Update for Android 14 Users – Everlance Help Center

We'd like to inform you about a critical update related to the Android 14 operating system that may impact your experience with our tracker. This is especially relevant for users who have recently updated to Android 14.

What's Happening?

With the Android 14 update, a specific permission known as "Alarms & Reminders" is being revoked for users. This permission is crucial for our tracker to function properly, as it enables us to confirm that a trip has indeed ended. Without this timer, the app faces challenges in accurately stopping trips, leading to potential crashes.

What We Need You to Do

If you are affected by this update, you will see a new option in your Tracker Checklist called "Allow setting reminders and notifications". If there is a red Fix button, please click that and it will prompt you to update your "Alarm & Reminders" permission. You can also grant this through your Device Settings.

Here's a quick guide on how to do it:

Open your device settings.
Navigate to App Permissions.
Find our app and grant the "Alarms & Reminders."

If your Alarms & Reminders permission is grayed out, you will need to adjust your Battery Optimization for Everlance to enable Alarms & Permissions.
