The easiest way to track trips with Everlance is to turn ON Auto-Detection under Tracker Settings. Automatic tracking will ensure every trip is recorded in the background of your device.
*As a reminder, personal or non-work trips are private only to you. They are not visible to your admins.
Go to Account > Tracker Settings > Auto-Detection and tap the toggle so that it is ON
If you choose to manually track trips, you will have to start and stop the tracker whenever you begin and end your trip to ensure it is captured.
Tap on the '+' > Start Tracking and tap Stop to end your Trip
If you miss a trip, you can manually add a trip to the app by adding a start and end time and a start and end location for each missing trip.
Tap on the'+' at the bottom of your screen > Trip > Enter your trip details and tap 'Save'
a) Once your trips have been recorded, you can view them in the Trips tab.
*Only Work trips are visible to your admin. All Personal and non-work trips are private.
Tap on Trips at the bottom of your screen. At the top of the screen, choose to view Unclassified or All trips.
b) You can Filter trips to make classifying a breeze!
Tap on Edit > Filter > You can filter your trips by Dates, Start Place, End Place, and Purpose > Once you have applied your filters, tap on Filter > You can Classify All As at the bottom of your screen.
c) You can also Select Multiple Trips at once to Classify, Merge, Add Tags, and Delete your selection.
*If you delete trips they cannot be retrieved.
Tap on Edit > Select Multiple > Tap on the trips you want to make changes to as indicated by the checkmark > Select your action at the bottom of your screen.
Classifying your trips is as easy as swiping left or right. Your trips will be unclassified and private only to you until you classify them as work. If you classify a trip by accident then you can change to any other classification by re-swiping in the opposite direction.
For Work > Swipe Right on the Trip Card. For Personal < Swipe left on the Trip Card
Work Hours
A great way to automatically classify work trips is to go to the Work Hours section under the Settings menu. This allows the app to automatically classify any trips during the schedule you specify as work hours as work trips and automatically keeps trips outside of those hours private.
Go to Account > Work Hours > Toggle enable work hours ON > Use the dropdown next to 'Within these hours' to specify your Work Purpose > Finally check each day of the week that you will have work hours and specify the hours for that day > Tap 'Save in the top left corner.

Auto-Detection

Manually Track Trips

Tap on the'+' > Start Work Session and tap End Trip to end your Trip

If you miss a trip, you can manually add a trip to the app by adding a start and end time and a start and end location for each missing trip.
Tap on the'+' at the bottom of your screen > Add Trip > Enter your trip details and tap 'Save'
How to View Trips and Apply Filters
a) Once your trips have been recorded, you can view them in the Trips tab.

Go to Account > Trips > Tap the dropdown arrow to view your Trips by Purpose such as All, Unclassified, or your company's purpose.
