Need to organize your transactions by income source or separate work and personal expenses? It's easy! In the app, just swipe right or left to classify your transactions, or tap/click the current classification (e.g., Unclassified, DoorDash) and choose from the pop-up options.
To learn how to classify your transactions, first select your device:
Step 1: Tap on 'Transactions' located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: To easily locate your Transactions that need classifications, simply tap on the 'Unclassified' tab from the top of your screen.
Step 3: To Classify as Work, swipe right on the transaction card. You will see a green bar appear indicating the transaction will be recorded as Work. You can then choose the specific Work Purpose that the transaction will be classified as.
To categorize your transaction as Personal, swipe left on the transaction card.
To categorize as Other (medical, charity, etc.), swipe FAR left on the transaction card. You will see an orange bar appear which will lead you to a list of Other category options.
You can also tap on the current purpose, in this example we'll tap on 'Unclassified' and a pop up will appear with a list of all of your classifications.
You've classified your Transaction and you can now view this under the ALL tab.
Step 1: Log into your account on the Web Dashboard.
Step 2: Click on 'Transactions'.
Step 3: Tap the dropdown arrow next to 'Unclassified' to select your classification.
Great job! You've just classified your transaction!
