Do you need to find transactions quickly or classify multiple at once? The filter button lets you sort by date, purpose, or other criteria, making it easy to organize and locate specific transactions without endless scrolling. Plus, filters work for both Unclassified and Classified Transactions!
To begin, select your device:
Step 1: Tap on 'Transactions' located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Select your Purpose from the top of the screen. In this example, I want to filter all of my transactions by selecting 'All Transactions'.
Step 3: Tap the 'Filter' icon in the far right corner.
Step 4: This will then open the edit screen. Since 'All Transactions' includes classified and unclassified transactions, you're able to narrow down your results according to dates, type, etc.
Once you are finished applying your filters, tap 'Filter' at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5: The app will tell you how many transactions were filtered according to the options you selected. Tap 'Classify All As' if you'd like to make changes to all of your filtered transactions.
Step 6: You can also scroll through your filtered transactions and select the individual transaction you want to make changes to. If you wish to delete the transaction, tap 'Delete' in the top right corner.
Please note: Once a transaction has been deleted there is no way for us to recover this data.
That's it! You now know how to use filters to sort and classify multiple transactions at once.
Step 1: From the Web Dashboard, click on 'Transactions'.
Step 2: Use the filters in the top left to help you search by purpose or date range. For additional filtering options, click 'Filters' in the top right.
Step 3: In the Filters menu, sort your transactions by transaction type, category, or bank account. Once you've made your selections, click 'Apply Filters' to update your results.
Step 4: To select all of your filtered transactions, click on the box next to 'Date' and a checkmark should appear for each of your transactions.
Step 5: Click 'Classify' to classify your selected transactions.
